Our founders

At Only Us Sports Management, we’re a team committed to building athletes from the inside out. Founded by leaders who understand the challenges and dreams of today’s athletes, our mission is simple: to develop talent, guide futures, and open doors to opportunity. Through personalized recruiting support, training programs, and real mentorship, we help athletes succeed both on the field and in life. “Only Us” means we stand together—as a team, as a family, and as a community—focused on building success that lasts.

Darius Smalls

Co-Founder, Only Us Sports Management
Darius Smalls is a dedicated leader and co-founder of Only Us Sports Management, with a passion for developing athletes on and off the field. A proud alumnus of Valdosta State University, Darius earned his degree in Organizational Leadership while playing collegiate football. He was a key part of the 2018 Valdosta State National Championship Team, an experience that instilled in him a deep understanding of discipline, teamwork, and excellence.

Beyond athletics, Darius has made a strong impact in his community through youth outreach and mentorship. His work focuses on helping young people build the mindset and life skills needed to succeed in school, sports, and beyond.

Through Only Us Sports Management, Darius is committed to creating pathways for growth, leadership, and long-term success — because for him, it’s bigger than sports; it’s about building futures

Jameel Padgett

Co-Founder, Only Us Sports Management
Jameel Padgett is a driven and disciplined leader whose foundation is built on high-level athletics, academic excellence, and ambition. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Jameel graduated from Englewood High School, where he was a four-year varsity starter in football, excelling at both Tight End and Free Safety. He earned All–First Coast Honorable Mention and was recognized as Student of the Year for his leadership and academic performance.

Jameel continued his athletic and academic journey at Presbyterian College before transferring to Valdosta State University, where he studied Organizational Leadership. While at Valdosta State, he was also a member of the 2018 National Championship Team.

Today, Jameel is focused on creating lasting impact through leadership, mentorship, and building meaningful connections that shape the future.

Roy Colum III

Co-Founder, Only Us Sports Management
Roy Colum III is a dedicated mentor and leader of Only Us Sports Management. Born in San Angelo, Texas, and raised in Pensacola, Florida, Roy graduated from Pensacola High School in 2015.

His football journey began with a scholarship to Mississippi Valley State University, followed by a redshirt season during Valdosta State’s 2018 National Championship run, where he also contributed to a Gulf South Conference title. Roy completed his collegiate playing career as a running back at Edward Waters University, helping lead the team to a successful 6–4 season while earning his B.A. in Psychology and recognition for SIAC academic honors.

Today, Roy is passionate about giving back to the next generation, guiding young athletes in mental wellness, life skills, and academic support to help them thrive both on and off the field.
